Jointly Embracing the New Mission of TCM Cultural Inheritance · Building a New Platform Integrating Reading and Technology: Launch of the "Zhenzhitang" Reading Club by the Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, and the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center

To promote the inheritance and innovation of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) culture and to facilitate deep integration of technology and humanities, the event "Artificial Intelligence + Medicine" was successfully held in Beijing. The launch of the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center International Acupuncture Reading Club · "Zhenzhitang" marks a new step forward in the promotion of reading and academic exchange in the field of acupuncture.

Cui Yiting, Secretary-General of the ANSO Alliance of National and International Innovative Enterprises for the Belt and Road Regions (ANIE), was invited to attend the event and served as the host.

Tong Xiaoying, Deputy Director of the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center, Institute of Acupuncture and Moxibustion, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, introduced the background and development vision of the "Zhenzhitang" Reading Club. She pointed out that the reading club aims to respond to industry development needs by building a global learning and communication platform for acupuncture practitioners, promoting the study of acupuncture classics, sharing cutting-edge knowledge, and spreading culture. The club will take "In-depth Reading of Classics, Unity of Knowledge and Practice" as its purpose, assisting the academic inheritance of acupuncture and the international dissemination of TCM culture.

Yang Shuyuan, Publishing Director of the Chinese Medical Classics Publishing House, stated that the launch of the "Zhenzhitang" Reading Club is an important initiative for academic inheritance in acupuncture and a new starting point for the international dissemination of TCM culture. Chinese medical classics contain the core wisdom of TCM development, with acupuncture classics as an essential component. As a professional institution dedicated to the collation and publication of Chinese medical classics for over 40 years, the Chinese Medical Classics Publishing House will continue to provide professional support for the reading club, promoting profound and practical classical reading, and jointly building a new platform for TCM cultural exchange and sharing.

Liu Zhaohui, Member of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the World Federation of Acupuncture-Moxibustion Societies and Professor at the China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences, reviewed his close relationship with the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center in his speech. Combining over 30 years of teaching and clinical experience at home and abroad, he emphasized the importance of classical reading in the construction of TCM theory and its international dissemination. He pointed out that TCM acupuncture embodies profound scientific, philosophical, and artistic values, and the establishment of the reading club will help cultivate TCM talents with a global vision, promoting the flourishing of acupuncture culture on the international stage.

Zhang Hua from the Beijing International Acupuncture Training Center introduced the “Zhenzhitang” Reading Club’s program design and annual reading list, which includes 14 classical works on TCM and philosophy such as the I Ching, Huangdi Neijing, and Dao De Jing. She highlighted that the club fosters a free and open atmosphere, encouraging members to share their reading experiences through writing, drawing, and other forms, creating a warm and creative learning community. Going forward, the club will continue refining its programs, invite collective ideas, diversify content formats, and strive to build a spiritual home for TCM enthusiasts.

With the joint witness of all guests present, the "Zhenzhitang" Reading Club held the launch button activation and cake-cutting ceremony on site. The establishment of "Zhenzhitang" has built a brand-new platform integrating reading, communication, and inheritance in the field of TCM acupuncture, providing a new practical example for the dissemination of TCM culture under the new era. Going forward, the reading club will continue to promote academic exchange and cultural co-construction through diversified forms such as thematic shared reading, expert guided reading, and reading sharing, supporting industry development and talent growth. The ANSO Alliance of National and International Innovative Enterprises for the Belt and Road Regions will continue to support innovative practices integrating culture and technology, promote TCM to the world, and contribute to the construction of a global community of health for all.
