President Xi Jinping welcomes speakers from various countries to visit China and points out that speakers come from different continents, and we are all members of the 'Global South'. Although different countries have different national conditions and conditions, we are all like-minded brothers and partners. Currently, the global landscape is rapidly evolving. China is willing to work with other countries to advocate for an equal and orderly world multipolarization, inclusive and inclusive economic globalization, promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind, and build the earth we live on together into a harmonious big family.

President Xi Jinping emphasizes that legislative exchanges are an important component of state to state relations, and legislative bodies have the responsibility and ability to play a positive role in building equal and trustworthy state relations, expanding mutually beneficial development cooperation, promoting open and inclusive exchanges and mutual learning, and advancing fair and reasonable global governance, making unique contributions to promoting the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. China has always been a member of the 'global South', and solidarity and cooperation with developing countries are the unshakable foundation of China's foreign relations. China does not pursue its own modernization, but is willing to work with other countries, including developing countries, to promote a world modernization of peaceful development, mutually beneficial cooperation, and common prosperity. Together, we will be a stabilizing force for maintaining peace, a backbone force for open development, a driving force for global governance, and a promoting force for mutual learning among civilizations.

President Xi Jinping introduced the relevant situation of the Third Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, and pointed out that China's unswerving promotion of high-level opening-up to the outside world will inject new momentum into the promotion of world economic development, provide new opportunities for deepening mutually beneficial cooperation with other countries, and open up new prospects for the common development of developing countries. China is willing to strengthen exchanges and cooperation with legislative bodies of various countries and jointly explore a modernisation path suitable for its national conditions.

President Xi Jinping pointed out that an important experience for China's remarkable achievements in governance is to follow the path of socialist political development with Chinese characteristics under the leadership of the CPC and adhere to and develop people's democracy throughout the process. The essence of people's democracy is to discuss things together and find the greatest common denominator of the will and demands of the entire society. The whole process of people's democracy not only has a complete system and procedure, but also a complete participation in practice, which is extensive, genuine, and effective. China will, as always, support the National People's Congress to deepen exchanges and cooperation with the Inter Parliamentary Union. On the basis of mutual respect for each other's choice of development paths and institutional models, China will strengthen exchanges of experience in legislation and governance, jointly improve the ability to perform their duties, and create a good environment for the rule of law and consolidate the basis of public opinion for countries in the "Global South" to deepen friendly cooperation.

Akzon, President of the Inter Parliamentary Union and President of the National Assembly of Tanzania, Kajawi, President of the National Assembly of Namibia, and Bei, President of the National Assembly of Suriname, spoke on behalf of the foreign side, expressing that the Inter Parliamentary Union has long-term friendship and close cooperation with the National People's Congress of China, and thanking China for its constant commitment to promoting solidarity, mutual trust, friendship and cooperation among parliaments, and making positive contributions to the development of various causes of the Inter Parliamentary Union and the implementation of the 2030 Sustainable Development Goals of the United Nations. As the world's largest developing country, China has successfully lifted hundreds of millions of people out of poverty and achieved remarkable development achievements, setting an example for other developing countries, enhancing confidence, and providing important opportunities. The Inter Parliamentary Union appreciates China's adherence to a fair and just stance in international affairs, advocating equality for all countries big and small, and making important contributions to promoting world peace, stability, and common development. All parties expressed their appreciation for the "Belt and Road" initiative, the global development initiative, the global security initiative and the global civilization initiative proposed by China. They were committed to close the friendly partnership with China, firmly adhere to the one China principle, work closely with China, jointly safeguard multilateralism, practice the common values of all mankind, advocate an equal and orderly world, multi polar, inclusive and inclusive economic globalization, and promote the building of a community with a shared future for mankind.
