Vladimir Almanov visits the Silk Road Dialogue Committee

Recently, during the "Heart of Russia" Cultural and Art Festival, renowned Russian artist and woodcut master Vladimir Almanov visited the Silk Road Dialogue Committee for dialogue and exchange. The two sides engaged in dialogue and exchange on diplomatic dialogue with China, as well as cultural tourism, art creation, art exhibitions, and the entry of artworks into the Silk Road Dialogue International Meeting Hall and Silk Road International Museum. Meanwhile, the Silk Road Dialogue International Think Tank Alliance has appointed Mr. Vladimir Almanov as a member of the think tank. Ms. Cui Yiting, Founder of the Silk Road Dialogue, and Qin Haiyou from the Secretariat jointly participated.

In the long history of cultural exchanges between China and Russia, with the deepening of the "Belt and Road" initiative, China and Russia have increasingly increased cooperation in economic, cultural and other fields. The two sides said that they will promote the high-quality development of Chinese culture and Russian culture and arts through diplomats' dialogue with Chinese cities, enterprises, intangible cultural heritage, science and technology, cultural tourism, outstanding role models, Chinese medicine, meditation culture, and health care industries, and promote the exchanges between Chinese culture and Russian culture, tourism, art, and trade, so as to improve the high-quality development of Chinese and Russian culture and arts.

Through this dialogue and exchange, both sides will engage in normalized cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation, helping more Russian artworks to settle in the "Silk Road Dialogue International Meeting Hall" and "Silk Road International Museum", contributing to promoting deeper cultural and artistic exchanges and cooperation between China and Russia, and paying tribute to the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia.
