President Xi Jinping pointed out that Hungary was one of the earliest countries to recognize New China. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, China and Hungary have always respected each other, treated each other equally, and achieved mutual benefit and win-win results. The relationship between the two countries has withstood the test of international changes and achieved sustained and in-depth development from friends and friendly partners across continents to comprehensive strategic partners. Currently, China Hungary relations are at their best in history, with traditional friendship deeply ingrained in people's hearts and fruitful cooperation in various fields. This year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Hungary. China is willing to work with Hungary to continue traditional friendship, deepen political mutual trust, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation, and lead China Hungary relations to a higher level.

President Xi Jinping emphasizes that in the past 75 years, China Hungary relations have maintained stable development. Both sides should summarize valuable experiences and point out the future path. One is to adhere to equal treatment, follow a development path that is in line with our own national conditions, and firmly grasp our future and destiny in our own hands. The friendship between China and Hungary for generations is neither aimed at nor constrained by third parties. The second is to adhere to mutual trust and assistance, always understanding and firmly supporting each other's sovereignty, security, and development interests. Third, adhere to win-win cooperation, expand cooperation in all fields within the framework of jointly building the "Belt and Road", and promote the docking of their respective development strategies. The fourth is to adhere to fairness and justice, stand on the correct side of history, and strive to make positive contributions to the cause of human peace and development.

President Xi Jinping emphasizes that China is comprehensively promoting the construction of a powerful country and national rejuvenation with Chinese path to modernization, which will bring great opportunities to the world. China welcomes Hungarian friends to take the fast train of development of Chinese path to modernization, and is willing to continue to deepen political mutual trust with Chinese path to modernization, promote closer connection between Chinese style modernization and Hungary's "opening up to the east" strategy, tap the potential of practical cooperation, and continue to expand exchanges in various fields. China is willing to continue to lead with Hungary in the right direction of jointly building the "Belt and Road" cooperation and China CEEC cooperation, and promote cooperation to go deeper and more practical. We hope that Hungary can take the opportunity of assuming the rotating presidency of the European Union in the second half of this year to promote the stable and healthy development of China Europe relations.

President Tamas Sulyok stated that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Hungary and China. Since the establishment of diplomatic relations, the two countries have always adhered to the spirit of mutual respect and trust in developing bilateral relations. Since the establishment of a comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries in 2017, bilateral cooperation in various fields has achieved positive results. Thanks to President Xi Jinping for putting forward the initiative of jointly building the "Belt and Road", which has greatly benefited Hungary from infrastructure connectivity and other cooperation. President Xi Jinping has proposed the Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative, advocating for strengthening international dialogue and cooperation, which is crucial for solving various challenges facing the world and preventing factional confrontation. Hungary highly appreciates this. Strengthening cooperation with China is Hungary's established policy. The Hungarian side looks forward to close exchanges with the Chinese side, strengthening the alignment of development strategies, and promoting key cooperation projects such as the Hungary Serbia Railway to benefit the people more. I believe that President Xi Jinping's historic visit will elevate the comprehensive strategic partnership between Hungary and China to a new and higher level. China has advanced technology and experience in green transformation, clean energy, and other areas. Hungary welcomes more Chinese enterprises to invest and cooperate in Hungary. We hope that both sides can continue to cooperate in running bilingual schools and Confucius Institutes between Hungary and China, and strengthen cultural and language exchange and cooperation between the two countries.
