President Xi Jinping pointed out that China has always viewed China EU relations from a strategic and long-term perspective, taking Europe as an important direction of major country diplomacy with Chinese characteristics and an important partner in achieving Chinese path to modernization, and hopes that China France relations and China EU relations can promote and develop mutually. As the world enters a new period of turbulence and change, China and Europe, as two important forces, should adhere to the positioning of partners, adhere to dialogue and cooperation, deepen strategic communication, enhance strategic mutual trust, gather strategic consensus, carry out strategic cooperation, promote stable and healthy development of China Europe relations, and continuously make new contributions to world peace and development.

President Xi Jinping emphasizes that China Europe relations have strong endogenous momentum and broad development prospects, and are not targeted, dependent, or constrained by third parties. I hope EU institutions can establish a correct understanding of China and formulate proactive policies towards China. Both sides should respect each other's core interests and major concerns, and maintain the political foundation of China Europe relations and the basic norms of international relations. Both sides need to prepare for the new China Europe Leaders Meeting and high-level dialogues on strategy, economy and trade, green, and digital, and build a stable and trustworthy industrial and supply chain partnership. Make good use of China's visa free policies for European countries and convenient arrangements for foreign personnel to come to China, encourage civil and local exchanges, education and scientific research cooperation, and improve the public opinion foundation and atmosphere of China Europe relations.

President Xi Jinping pointed out that China's new energy industry has honed its true skills in open competition, representing advanced production capacity. It not only enriches global supply and alleviates global inflationary pressures, but also makes significant contributions to global response to climate change and green transformation. From both a comparative advantage and a global market demand perspective, there is no such thing as "China's overcapacity problem". The essence of China Europe cooperation is complementary advantages, mutual benefit, and win-win. Both sides have broad common interests and huge cooperation space in green and digital transformation. Both sides should handle economic and trade frictions properly through dialogue and consultation, and take into account the reasonable concerns of both sides.

President Emmanuel Macron stated that this year marks the 60th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between France and China, and France China cooperation has achieved many important results. I am pleased to hold the trilateral meeting between the leaders of France and China during President Xi Jinping's third state visit to France. This is not only a continuation of previous trilateral meetings between leaders of France and China, but also an urgent need to address various international challenges. The current world is facing major challenges, and the international situation is at a critical turning point. France and the European Union need to strengthen cooperation with China more than ever before, which is related to Europe's future. The French side hopes to strengthen dialogue and cooperation with China, enhance mutual trust and friendship between France, China, and Europe. The European side does not agree with decoupling and welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest and cooperate in Europe. We hope to strengthen cooperation with China and jointly maintain the security and stability of the European value chain and supply chain. The French side hopes to work closely with China to address global challenges such as climate change and marine diversity.

President Ursula von der Leyen said that EU China relations are good, and next year marks the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the EU and China. China plays a crucial role in global affairs, and maintaining good relations with China is crucial for the EU, which will also determine whether it can better respond to global challenges such as climate change and the Ukraine crisis. The EU hopes to respect each other, seek common ground while reserving differences, enhance mutual trust, avoid misunderstandings, jointly maintain the international order based on international law, and promote world peace, security, and prosperity with China. The European side appreciates China's efforts and achievements in green transformation and development, recognizes China's legitimate rights in safeguarding its own development, and hopes to continue frank dialogue with China and strengthen cooperation.

Regarding the Ukrainian crisis, President Xi Jinping pointed out that China, France, and Europe all hope for a ceasefire and a return to peace in Europe as soon as possible, and all support a political solution to the Ukrainian crisis. We must jointly oppose the escalation of war spillovers, create conditions for peace talks, and maintain international energy and food security, as well as the stability of industrial and supply chains. China is not the creator or party to the Ukrainian crisis, and has been working hard to persuade peace and promote negotiations. The objective and impartial stance and constructive role of China have been widely recognized by the international community. China is willing to continue to maintain communication with relevant parties.

Regarding the Israeli Palestinian conflict, President Xi Jinping emphasizes that the top priority is to achieve a comprehensive ceasefire and end the war as soon as possible, with the top priority being to ensure humanitarian assistance. The fundamental solution is to implement the "two country plan". China supports accepting Palestine as an official member of the United Nations. There are many important consensuses between China and Europe on the Palestinian Israeli issue. China is willing to work with the European side to support the convening of a larger scale, more authoritative, and more effective international peace conference as soon as possible, formulate a specific timetable and roadmap for implementing the "two-state solution", and promote the comprehensive, just, and lasting resolution of the Palestinian issue as soon as possible.

The three leaders believe that this trilateral meeting has enhanced mutual understanding, consolidated cooperation consensus, and clarified the approach to solving problems. They are willing to continue working together to promote the healthy and stable development of China Europe relations.

Cai Qi and Wang Yi attended the meeting.
