The 29th China Dangshan Pear Blossom Festival

A thousand year old Dang County, a city full of pear blossom fragrance. The 29th Dangshan Pear Blossom Festival in China has grandly opened, opening up the opportunity to appreciate the sea of flowers, observe folk customs, taste delicious food, share the romance of spring, and embark on a journey to countless beautiful spring days. Ms. Olga·Kolotova, Mayor of Kirovsk City of the Russian Federation, Mr. Bagayev Nikolai, Deputy Mayor, Ms. Cui Yiting, Founder of the Silk Road Dialogue, and Wang Jing, President of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in St. Petersburg, Russia and Chairman of the China Russia Silk Road Dialogue Cultural and Economic Cooperation Committee, led a delegation to visit the 29th China Dangshan Pear Blossom Festival. They also visited the catering enterprises of Vice President Shao Songfeng of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in St. Petersburg, Russia for inspection and exchange. The purpose of this visit to Dangshan is to deepen cultural exchanges between China and Russia, promote cooperation in culture, tourism, and food and catering in the two regions.

Dangshan County has a hundred mile old Yellow River channel and nearly one million acres of contiguous orchards on both sides. The scenery varies throughout the four seasons, making it the world's largest contiguous orchard recognized by Guinness Records. In recent years, relying on its unique natural advantages, the county has vigorously developed cultural, agricultural, and tourism integrated industries such as sightseeing agriculture, rural tourism, and pastoral complexes. It has been favored by domestic and foreign tourists, and the number of visitors who come to visit has been increasing day by day, injecting vitality into rural revitalization. The Pear Tree King Scenic Area, Aotou Sea View Scenic Area, and Qianlong Imperial Plantation Garden have become the main resource support for the development of leisure agriculture and rural ecotourism.

During the visit, the Silk Road Dialogue delegation was also invited to visit the catering enterprises of Shao Songfeng, Vice President of the Anhui Chamber of Commerce in St. Petersburg, Russia, for inspection and exchange. Representatives from both China and Russia engaged in in-depth dialogue on how to promote cultural exchange and cooperation between the two countries through catering and cuisine. Both sides expressed that catering and cuisine, as important components of culture, can cross national borders and connect the hearts of different ethnic groups.
