President Xi Jinping requests Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov to convey sincere greetings to President Putin. President Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Russia. China and Russia have jointly embarked on a new path of harmonious coexistence and win-win cooperation among major powers and neighboring countries, benefiting both countries and their peoples, and contributing wisdom and strength to international fairness and justice. President Putin and I unanimously agree to continue close exchanges and ensure the smooth and stable development of China Russia relations. Both sides should take the celebration of the 75th anniversary of diplomatic relations and the holding of the China Russia Cultural Year as an opportunity to fully implement a series of important consensus reached between President Putin and me.

President Xi Jinping emphasizes that China supports the Russian people in pursuing a development path that is in line with their own national conditions, and supports Russia in combating terrorism and maintaining social security and stability. China has always attached great importance to the development of China Russia relations and is willing to closely communicate with Russia on a bilateral basis, strengthen multilateral strategic cooperation in countries such as the BRICS and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, demonstrate more responsibilities, unite "global southern" countries with the spirit of equality, openness, transparency, and inclusiveness, promote the transformation of the global governance system, and effectively lead the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind.

Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov conveyed President Putin's warm greetings and good wishes to President Xi Jinping. It is said that under the strong leadership of President Xi Jinping, China has achieved world-renowned achievements and provided important opportunities for other countries to achieve common development, which the Russian side deeply admires. The priority policy of Russia's foreign policy is to comprehensively consolidate and enhance relations with China. The successful re-election of President Putin ensures the continuity of Russia China relations. The relationship between Russia and China is based on equality and mutual benefit, surpassing the alliance relationship of the Cold War era and demonstrating strong resilience. The Russian side is willing to conscientiously implement the important consensus of the two heads of state, strengthen bilateral and multilateral cooperation, work together with other "global southern" countries to strengthen unity and cooperation, and contribute to the formation of a more fair and just international order.

Wang Yi attended the meeting.
