President Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Micronesia. The two countries have always respected each other, treated each other equally, cooperated in a friendly and mutually beneficial manner, and enhanced the well-being of their peoples. China supports Micronesia in safeguarding national sovereignty and independence, pursuing a development path that is in line with its national conditions, revitalizing the economy, and improving people's livelihoods. China is willing to work with Micronesia to take the 35th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries as a new starting point, maintain exchanges and dialogue at all levels, strengthen mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields, and promote China Micronesia relations to a new level. The two sides should adhere to the political orientation of the comprehensive strategic partnership between the two countries, adhere to the cooperation keynote of mutual benefit, win-win results and common development, accelerate cooperation in jointly building the "Belt and Road", strengthen cooperation in infrastructure projects, and close cultural, health, education, local and other people to people exchanges. Welcome more young people from the Federated States of Micronesia to come to China for further education. Local projects such as "sending doctors to islands" and "sending dramas to the sea" in China are highly welcomed by the people of Micronesia, and both sides can carry out more similar projects. China is willing to provide climate change assistance and capacity building training to Micronesia within the framework of South South cooperation. Strengthen coordination and cooperation within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations and the Pacific Island Forum, jointly practice multilateralism, and uphold fairness and justice.

President Xi Jinping pointed out that China and the Pacific Islands have a long history of exchanges, profound friendship among the people, and common development needs. The development of China's relations with island countries is a mutual assistance within the framework of South South cooperation, which is neither targeted nor should be interfered with by third parties. China advocates that when developing relations with Pacific island countries, countries should adhere to island independence, prioritize development, and adhere to openness and inclusiveness. Island countries have the right to choose development paths that are in line with their own national conditions and to engage in friendly cooperation with all development partners. China is willing to continue to provide support to the development of island countries to the best of its ability and carry out trilateral or multilateral cooperation.

President Wesley W. Simina stated that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Federated States of Micronesia and China, the two countries have always adhered to basic principles such as mutual respect, equal treatment, and non-interference in each other's internal affairs, and bilateral relations have made significant progress. The Federated States of Micronesia firmly abides by the one-China principle and believes that there is only one China in the world. The government of the People's Republic of China is the only legitimate government representing the whole of China. Taiwan is an integral part of China's territory. It firmly supports China's position on Taiwan-related, Hong Kong-related, Xinjiang-related, Tibet-related and other core interests. The Global Development Initiative, Global Security Initiative, and Global Civilization Initiative proposed by President Xi Jinping are of great significance in helping developing countries achieve common development and promoting world peace, stability, and prosperity. We thank China for providing valuable assistance to the economic and social development of Pacific island countries such as the Federated States of Micronesia for a long time, and are willing to deepen cooperation in agriculture, fishery, economy and trade, investment, tourism, digital economy and other fields under the framework of the "Belt and Road" to jointly address climate change. China's cooperation in the Pacific island region is conducive to regional peace and development, and the Federated States of Micronesia will continue to actively promote cooperation between island countries and China.
