Ms. Cui Yiting, founder of the Silk Road Dialogue, met with Tatiana Borisvna Urzhumceva, director of the Russian Cultural Center.
Ms. Tatiana Borisvna Urjumtseva fully recognizes the contribution of the Silk Road Dialogue to cultural and economic exchanges between China and Russia under the guidance of the Belt and Road Initiative. At the same time, Ms. Tatiana Borisvna Urjumtseva hopes to strengthen the cooperation and exchange between the Silk Road dialogue and the Russian cultural center, further promote cultural project docking between China and Russia, hold international cultural forums, and normalize international cultural and artistic performances, and promote mutual understanding between the two peoples through practical actions.
Ms. Cui Yiting further discussed the cultural exchange and cooperation between China and Russia, and stated that using the "Silk Road Dialogue International Reception Hall" as a carrier, China and Russia can further cooperate on seven major areas: Mayor's International Dialogue, International Friendly Scenic Area Dialogue, Industry International Cultural Forum, Industry Enterprise Brand Internationalization Construction, Health and Tourism Internationalization Construction, Silk Road YI Live Broadcast, and Normalized International Cultural Performance Exchange.
In this meeting, both sides unanimously agreed that it is necessary for China and Russia to establish a normalized cooperation mechanism. Ms. Tatiana Borisvna Urjumtseva expressed her hope to deepen cooperation with the Silk Road Dialogue, while Ms. Cui Yiting, on behalf of the Silk Road Dialogue Committee, presented Ms. Tatiana Borisvna Urjumtseva with an appointment letter as an "Expert of the Silk Road Dialogue International Think Tank Alliance" to promote cultural, tourism, economic and trade exchanges, cooperation, and prosperous development between Russia and China.
In the future, both sides will jointly promote cultural exchanges and economic and trade exchanges between China and Russia, injecting a continuous stream of vitality into friendly cooperation between China and Russia.
