President Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 10th anniversary of my proposal to jointly build the "Belt and Road" initiative, as well as the 10th anniversary of my proposal to put forward the concept of a true, friendly and sincere policy towards Africa. In the past 10 years, the joint construction of the "Belt and Road" between China and Africa has shown great vitality, and a large number of landmark projects have been completed. The cooperation between China and Nigeria in jointly building the "Belt and Road" is full of highlights. A large number of cooperation projects, such as railways, ports, power stations, and communication backbone networks, have been completed, and the construction of free trade zones has achieved remarkable results. China is willing to continue to work with Nigeria to promote the cooperation between China and Nigeria and China and Africa in building the "Belt and Road" to achieve more tangible results and help Nigeria and Africa achieve industrialization and agricultural modernization.

President Xi Jinping emphasized that since the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Nigeria for over half a century, the two countries have always adhered to mutual respect and mutual benefit. China supports Nigeria to play a greater role in international and regional affairs, and is willing to strengthen strategic coordination with Nigeria, promote democratization of international relations, and safeguard the common interests of developing countries.

Nigeria and China are good friends who share weal and woe and help each other. China has always respected and treated African countries such as Nigeria equally, never giving orders and doing its best to support the African people in their pursuit of independence and development. Thank you to the Chinese side for proposing a series of important global cooperation initiatives for developing countries and providing valuable assistance for Nigeria's development, helping Nigeria and Africa's industrialization process. Nigeria attaches great importance to the development of relations with China, unswervingly pursues the one China policy, and is firmly committed to the high-level development of Nigeria China relations.
