President Xi Jinping pointed out that China US relations are the most important bilateral relationship in the world. How China and the United States coexist determines the future and destiny of humanity. Competitive confrontation is not in line with the trend of the times, nor can it solve the problems of our own country and the challenges facing the world. China has always believed that the common interests of China and the United States far outweigh differences, and the success of each other is an opportunity rather than a challenge for each other. The "Thucydides trap" is not inevitable, as the vast Earth can fully accommodate the development and common prosperity of China and the United States. The deep integration of the economies of China and the United States can benefit from each other's development. Global post pandemic recovery, addressing climate change, and addressing international and regional hotspot issues all require coordination and cooperation between China and the United States. As two major powers, China and the United States should demonstrate their great minds, vision, and responsibility. With an attitude of being responsible for history, the people, and the world, we should handle Sino US relations well, respect each other, coexist peacefully, and cooperate for mutual benefit, enhance the well-being of the two peoples, promote human social progress, and contribute to world peace and development.

President Xi Jinping pointed out that the Chinese civilization has been continuous for over five thousand years and has always adhered to the peaceful concept of keeping up with the times, inclusiveness, and cooperation and exchange. China has created two major miracles: rapid economic development and long-term social stability. It has historically solved the problem of absolute poverty and built a moderately prosperous society in all respects. The fundamental reason is that it has found a successful development path that is in line with China's national conditions, meets the expectations of the people, and receives support and support from the people. China will continue to follow the path of socialism with Chinese characteristics, comprehensively promote Chinese path to modernization, adhere to peaceful development and unswervingly work with other countries to build a community of shared future for mankind. Welcome more US lawmakers to visit China to better understand China's past, present, and future.
