President Xi Jinping pointed out that the cooperation between China and UNESCO is very meaningful and conducive to jointly promoting the cause of world peace and development. Over the years, China has always supported the work of UNESCO and, together with UNESCO, has done many positive things to maintain world peace and promote global development. This kind of cooperation is very precious and should be persisted for a long time. The world is composed of rich and colorful civilizations, and China is one of the countries with the oldest history and culture in the world. China is willing to engage in closer cooperation with the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, continuously improve the capacity and level of heritage protection, promote exchanges and mutual learning among various civilizations, promote inclusive cooperation, contribute to world peace, and promote the construction of a community with a shared future for mankind. 

President Xi Jinping emphasized that China has a population of over 1.4 billion, and its tremendous development is itself an important contribution to the progress of human civilization. China is committed to building itself into a modern socialist power in an all-round way by the middle of this century, and to promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization. Therefore, China adheres to the strategy of revitalizing the country through science and education, actively promotes the development of education, science and technology, and cultural undertakings, and attaches great importance to international exchanges and cooperation with various parties such as the United Nations Educational, Scientific, and Cultural Organization. China is willing to work together with UNESCO to contribute to promoting global common development.

Audrey Azoulay stated that the Chinese government has always attached great importance to and actively supported the work of UNESCO. China supports the establishment of the UNESCO Girls' and Women's Education Award, which has played an important role in promoting global education for women and girls. The United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization is satisfied with the significant consensus and good cooperation with China in a wide range of fields. It hopes to further strengthen exchanges and cooperation with China in cultural heritage protection, science, culture, technology, and other fields, gather more international consensus, and make positive contributions to maintaining world peace and development.
