The interior is hollow. There is a 129 step staircase that can go up to the neck of the statue. The two arms of the statue are balconies, which can accommodate 6 people. The view from this statue is quite spectacular.
Toudun lighthouse was built on another smaller mountain in 1907. It was later burned down and rebuilt at its current location. It is about 18 meters high and 3 meters in diameter. There are four canons on the platform of the lighthouse, which were built in the old days to defend against foreign enemies. From this lighthouse, you can overlook the whole view of Toudun City.
