Daegu

Daegu is the fourth largest city in South Korea after Seoul, Busan and Incheon. It is located in the intermountain basin along Qinhu River, a tributary of the middle reaches of Luodong River. Formerly known as Dacheng. It has a subtropical monsoon climate and is known as the "stove" of South Korea. The annual average temperature is 14.6 ℃, - 0.2 ℃ in January and 27.6 ℃ in August. Colorful festival, fried chicken beer festival and other international celebrations will be held every year. Daegu Qianshan Park is a good summer resort, located in the Qianshan Mountain, 660 meters above sea level, in the south of Daegu City. There are Shancheng Mountain (653m) and Dade Mountain (546m) on both sides of Qianshan Mountain. The north valley surrounding the three peaks is located in Qianshan Park. Qianshan Park was built in 1970 and included in the 10-year development plan again in 1981. It is the largest urban natural park in Daqiu City, covering a total area of 5.08 million square meters.









Bagong Mountain is a high mountain from the center of Daegu wide area to Yongchuan City, North Qingshang Road, Junwei County and other places. Centered on Pilu Peak, which is about 1192 meters above sea level, Dongfeng (also known as Mituo Peak 1155 meters) and Xifeng (also known as Sansheng Peak 1150 meters) stand side by side here. Bagong Mountain is one of the centers of Buddhist culture, including Tonghua Temple in the ninth diocese of Caoxizong, a Korean Buddhist, as well as numerous temples and Buddhist cultural relics such as the Stone Buddha Sitting Statue in Guanfeng, Yuanxiao Temple, Qiansheng Temple, and Buddha Cave Temple. Bagong Mountain has a variety of sceneries throughout the year. In spring, cuckoos bloom, in summer, trees are green, in autumn, red maples are all over the mountain, and in winter, ice and snow are crystal clear. The natural scenery is beautiful.







Qiming University is located at the foot of Wolong Mountain in the west of Daegu Guangyu, the third largest city in South Korea. With a beautiful campus environment, students can enjoy the convenient life in a metropolis and experience the fun of rural life. The campus is built in accordance with the architectural style of Harvard University in the United States, and is called the "Oriental Harvard Campus". The campus of Qiming University was rated as one of the most beautiful "ten campuses" among the 400 universities in South Korea, and the campus scale ranked ninth in the country.

Gyeongbei University is the second largest national university in South Korea after Seoul University. It is located in Daegu City, which is known as the "Capital of Education". Qingbei National University was founded in 1946 (KNU for short) and developed into a national comprehensive university composed of five colleges in 1951. Since its establishment, Qingbei National University has cultivated nearly 120000 graduates. The university has 13 colleges and 9 research institutes. There are more than 1000 in-service professors active in various disciplines.









Donghwasa was renamed Tonghua Temple on the south side of Bagong Mountain, 22 kilometers northeast of the downtown of Daegu, because wutong trees still bloom in winter. The existing Tonghua Temple was rebuilt in 1732. The main hall of Tonghua Temple has three facades and three sides. Its natural pillars are very special. In addition, the scale of stone pagodas, stone lanterns, lion statues and lotus lanterns is also very large. To the north of the statue of Medicine Guru Buddha, there are stone statues like screens. These are world-class stone statues.
