Linköping

Linköping is the fifth largest city in Sweden, located in the south of Sweden, with a population of 130000 and an area of 1431 square kilometers. It was founded in 1230 and has a temperate coniferous forest climate. Lin Xueping is one of the famous "University Cities" in Sweden. The city motto of the city is "id é er blar verkliget", which means "turning ideas into reality". It clearly reflects the city's development philosophy of combining university research resources with local economic industries. In order to effectively implement this concept, the city has also planned and built the "Mj ä rdevi Science Park" not far from the west of Wala Campus, the main campus of Lin Xueping University.



The Swedish Air Force Museum is located in the outskirts of the city. Lin Xueping is the manufacturing site of Sweden's famous fighter and commercial aircraft. The museum introduces the history of the development of the Swedish Air Force, and exhibits more than 50 fighter jets made in Sweden. More than 50 models and entities of domestic fighter aircraft in Sweden have introduced the development history of the Swedish Air Force in detail. From the Swedish JAS-39 "Gripen" fighter plane, which represents the world's leading level, to the wreckage of the DC-3 aircraft shot down by Russia in the Baltic Sea in 1952 during the Cold War, from the flight laboratory for teaching and entertainment to films, photos and materials that reflect the history of aircraft development, this place is simply a paradise for flight fans.









Link ö ping Cathedral is said to be the first church in Sweden. It was built in the 12th century and is now built in the 19th century. The cathedral is 110 meters long and the tower is 107 meters high. It is the best preserved medieval cathedral in Sweden. Built in the 12th century, its predecessor was a cross shaped chapel. About a century later, it decided to rebuild and expand. In the 1930s, this huge reconstruction project began. At first, the old church was retained for daily sacrifice. Later, it was demolished and incorporated into the rebuilt church. The reconstruction project lasted 300 years and was completed in 1885-86. There are exquisite stone statues and Santa Maria statues in the Gothic closed arcade in the church. Her gorgeous flower cloak protrudes from one side of the window and floats over the top of the head, giving people a surprise.
