Jaisalmer

Jaisalmer is located at the edge of Thar Desert in Rajasthan, 100km away from Pakistan. The hometown of gypsy and Indian minstrel dancers has preserved the original music form of North India, which is famous for religious festival ballads, ballads of minstrel poets and local Katak dances.



Merangalburg is a fascinating and awe inspiring architectural feat. Its battlements are 6-36 meters high. Thar Desert, also known as the Great Indian Desert, is located in Rajasthan, east of the Indus River. The balcony on the top floor protrudes a lot and looks like a lookout tower. This 300 year old private residence has a unique appearance. Its bottom floor is very narrow, but there are a lot of sculptures on the top floor, as well as arched balconies and light blue spires. Its beautiful arched roof and some ledges made of peacocks. In front of the mansion, there is an elephant stone carving.
