Bled is a municipality in the Upper Carniola region of northwestern Slovenia, in the Julian Alps and a popular holiday destination. Bled has the famous glacial lake Lake Bled, and the iconic Bled Castle stands on the rock overlooking the lake. Bled is known in Slovenia for her vanilla ice cream kremna rezina. Bled is also home to the World Rowing Championships.

Lake Bled is a well-known lake in Slovenia. It was formed by the geological movement of glaciers in the Alps about 10,000 years ago, so it is called "glacial lake".
