The spirit of Silk Road condenses in history and enlightenment in the present. In the new era and new journey, we should carry forward the spirit of Gengxu Silk Road and constantly consolidate the value consensus and spiritual foundation for the joint construction of the high-quality development of the Belt and Road Initiative.

Promote exchanges and mutual learning. General Secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "Civilization is colorful because of communication, and civilization is rich because of mutual learning. Civilization exchange and mutual learning are an important driving force to promote the progress of human civilization and the peaceful development of the world. The history of exchanges between east and the other civilizations on the Silk Road tells us that civilization is equal, and human civilization has the premise of communication and mutual learning because of equality. At the same time, civilization is colorful, and human civilization has the value of mutual learning because of its diversity. Carry forward the spirit of Gengxu Silk Road, we should respect the differences, independence and diversity of different civilizations, establish a civilized concept of equality, mutual learning, dialogue and tolerance, transcend the estrangement of civilizations with civilized exchange, transcend the conflict of civilizations with civilizations with civilization mutual learning, transcend the superiority of civilization with civilized coexistence, and promote common development in exchange and mutual learning.

Looking back on history, Zhang Qian in the Han Dynasty sent an envoy to the Western Regions and completed the "chiseling journey", using not war horses and spears, but camel teams and goodwill. Zheng He went to the West seven times in the Ming Dynasty, not relying on strong ships and cannons, but on treasure ships and friendship... Generations of Chinese people continued the fine tradition of peaceful cooperation. China emphasizes valuing the peaceful environment, creating good opportunities for cooperation, enhancing mutual trust among participating countries in the joint construction of the Belt and Road Initiative, and transforming the advantages of political mutual trust, geographical proximity and economic complementarity into the advantages of pragmatic cooperation and sustained growth. At present, the century-old changes and the century epidemic are intertwined and superimposed, and the world has entered a new period of turbulent change. Carry forward the spirit of Gengxu Silk Road, we should adhere to resolving disputes and differences peacefully through dialogue, actively communicate, build consensus, and work together to meet challenges.
