To better educate people for the party and the country and to cultivate innovative talents needed in the new era is an important aspect of turning the blueprint of the “14th Five Year Plan” into reality and striving for a new journey.
Today's world is facing unprecedented changes in a century. Profound and complex changes have taken place in the international and domestic environment. A new round of scientific and technological revolution and industrial change is emerging. In the face of more fierce competition in science and technology, if scientific and technological innovation can not be carried out, it is difficult to realize the successful transformation of development power. Therefore, we must take innovation as the first driving force to lead development and talent as the first resource to support development, strive to build a large-scale, reasonable structure and high-quality innovative talent team, and stimulate the innovation vitality and potential of all kinds of talents.
Innovation, especially original innovation, is an arduous exploration of unknown fields. It not only needs a strong internal driving force and enthusiasm for the pursuit of truth, but also depends on the continuous efforts of a number of scientific and technological innovation talents. In fact, talent is the foundation of innovation, and innovation drive is talent drive in the final analysis. Practice has proved that whoever has the first-class innovative talents has the advantage and leading power of scientific and technological innovation. In other words, who can take the lead in establishing a complete training and incentive mechanism for innovative talents can create a steady stream of value through science and technology and scientific and technological talents. All these need to focus on education, work hard to enhance comprehensive quality, educate and guide more people to cultivate comprehensive ability and innovative thinking.
To cultivate innovative talents, we need to fundamentally solve the problem of education evaluation baton. Last year, the CPC Central Committee and the State Council issued the “General plan for deepening the reform of education evaluation in the new era”, which proposed "reversing the unscientific orientation of education evaluation" and advocating "improving the comprehensive quality evaluation system". This is to cultivate students' values and key abilities to adapt to lifelong development, enhance their ability to serve economic and social development, and cultivate innovative talents with high-quality education, To help build an innovative country with innovative talents.
To cultivate innovative talents, we need to create a relaxed, inclusive and harmonious education environment. Innovation training is the key link of talent growth, we should pay attention to grasp the law of talent growth. General secretary Xi Jinping pointed out: "we should actively create a good atmosphere for encouraging innovation, innovation and tolerance in the whole society. We should attach importance to success and tolerance of failure". Only on the basis of deepening the comprehensive reform of education, establishing the concept of scientific talent, fully stimulating students' curiosity and imagination, promoting more people to realize diversified development, more open in vision and thought, and more comprehensive in ability and quality, can we accumulate abundant human resources and talent capital for innovation and development.
Talent comes first. The “14th Five Year Plan” and the long-term goal outline of 2035 put forward: "deepen the reform of education evaluation in the new era, establish and improve the education evaluation system and mechanism, develop quality education, and pay more attention to the cultivation of students' patriotic feelings, innovative spirit and healthy personality." Efforts should be made to improve the quality of personnel training, constantly guide students to establish scientific spirit, cultivate innovative thinking, tap innovative potential and improve innovative ability, so as to accumulate strength for the new journey of building a socialist modern country in an all-round way.
