President Xi Jinping pointed out that China has a history of friendly exchanges with GCC countries for nearly 2,000 years. As soon as the GCC was established in 1981, China established contact with the GCC. For more than 40 years, China and the Strait have written a brilliant chapter of unity, mutual assistance and win-win cooperation. The reason for the leapfrog development of China-sea relations is rooted in deep mutual trust. China and the GCC countries have always supported each other's sovereignty and independence, respected their respective development paths, adhered to the equality of all countries large and small, and firmly maintained multilateralism. Rooted in a high degree of complementarity, China has a broad consumer market, a complete industrial system, rich energy resources, and diversified economic development. The two sides are natural partners. In the connection between the people, China-Gulf Arab States belongs to the Eastern civilization, the cultural values are similar, and the people know each other. President Xi Jinping stressed that in the next three to five years, China is willing to make efforts with the GCC countries in the following key areas of cooperation:
First, build a new pattern of three-dimensional energy cooperation. China will continue to expand the import of crude oil and liquefied natural gas from GCC countries, strengthen hydrocarbon development, clean and low-carbon energy technical cooperation, and carry out RMB settlement of oil and gas trade. Establish the China-Gulf Arab States Forum on the Peaceful Use of Nuclear Technology and jointly build the China-Gulf Arab States Nuclear Security Demonstration Center to train talents in the peaceful use of nuclear energy and nuclear technology for GCC countries.
Second, promote new progress in financial investment cooperation. China is willing to carry out financial supervision and cooperation with GCC countries, establish a joint investment federation, support the sovereign wealth funds of the two sides to cooperate in various ways, study and hold a China-seas industrial and investment cooperation forum, strengthen investment cooperation in the digital economy and green development fields, and establish a bilateral investment and economic cooperation work mechanism. Digital currency cooperation.
Third, expand new fields of innovative scientific and technological cooperation. China is willing to jointly build big data and cloud computing centers with GCC countries, strengthen 5G and 6G technical cooperation, jointly build a number of innovation and entrepreneurship incubators, implement 10 digital economy projects around cross-border e-commerce cooperation and communication network construction, establish a CNOOC meteorological science and technology cooperation mechanism, and hold a seminar on China-Gulf Arab States response to climate change.
Fourth, achieve a new breakthrough in space and space cooperation. China is willing to cooperate with GCC countries in remote sensing and communication satellites, space applications, space infrastructure, astronaut selection and training, and welcomes GCC astronauts to enter the China Space Station, fly jointly with Chinese astronauts and carry out space science experiments. Welcome the sea to participate in China's space mission carrying cooperation to study and establish the China Sea Joint Lunar and Deep Space Exploration Center.
Fifth, create new highlights of language and cultural cooperation. China will cooperate with 300 GCC national universities, primary and secondary schools to carry out Chinese education, cooperate with GCC countries to set up 300 Chinese smart classrooms, provide 3,000 "Chinese Bridge" summer (winter) camp places, establish Chinese learning test centers and online Chinese classrooms, hold China-Gulf Arab States language and cultural forums, and jointly build China. President Xi Jinping stressed that China and the GCC countries each shoulder the glorious mission of national development and revitalization, and China-Sea relations are both ancient and young.
