President Xi Jinping pointed out that at present, the COVID—19 is still spreading globally, and the world economic recovery is difficult and tortuous. The Asia-Pacific region should bravely shoulder the responsibilities of the times, play a leading role, and firmly move towards the goal of building a community with a shared future in the Asia-Pacific region.　
First, fight the epidemic with all our strength. The more difficult the moment, the more we must strengthen our confidence, and the more we must be calm and courageous. In the face of this century-long test concerning the future and destiny of mankind, all Asia-Pacific economies and all sectors of society must uphold the people's supremacy and life supremacy, promote the spirit of science, unite as one, and strive to win a complete victory in the fight against the epidemic.
Second, adhere to open cooperation. All parties should grasp the general trend, proactively expand opening up, promote trade and investment liberalization and facilitation, maintain the stability and smoothness of the industrial chain and supply chain, promote economic recovery, and achieve coordinated development. Always look forward and move forward. The Asia-Pacific region cannot and should not return to a state of antagonism and division during the Cold War.
