President Xi Jinping pointed out that this year marks the 65th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Algeria. 65 years ago, the common cause of opposing imperialism and colonialism and striving for national independence and liberation brought our two countries together. For 65 years, China and Algeria have always shared weal and woe, stood by each other, understood and supported each other, and are sincere friends and natural partners on the path of pursuing common development and national rejuvenation. The Chinese side is comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization, and the Algerian side is striving to build a "new Algeria". China is willing to work together with the Algeria side to carry forward traditional friendship and promote greater development of the China Algeria comprehensive strategic partnership.

President Xi Jinping emphasized that both sides should support each other on issues related to each other's core interests. Thank you to the Algeria side for clearly supporting China's just stance on issues related to Taiwan, Xinjiang, and human rights. China firmly supports the Algeria side in safeguarding national sovereignty, independence, and territorial integrity, and supports the Algeria side in pursuing a development path that is in line with its own national conditions. It opposes external interference in Algeria's internal affairs. The two sides should work together to implement important cooperation documents such as the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", deepen cooperation in traditional fields such as infrastructure, petrochemicals, minerals and agriculture, expand cooperation in high-tech fields such as aerospace, nuclear energy, information communication and renewable energy, and foster new growth points of cooperation. China is willing to continue to provide assistance within its capabilities to Algeria, support its economic and social development, import more high-quality products from Algeria, and encourage and support Chinese enterprises to cooperate in Algeria. This year marks the 60th anniversary of China's dispatch of medical teams to Algeria. Over the past 60 years, China has dispatched 3522 medical and nursing personnel to the Algeria side, treating over 27 million patients and delivering over 2.07 million newborns, setting a monument to China Algeria friendship. China is willing to continue to deepen medical and health cooperation with the Algeria side, provide government scholarships to the Algeria side, promote friendly cooperation in fields such as news, tourism, youth, sports, think tanks, and consolidate the public opinion foundation of the two countries.

President Xi Jinping pointed out that China is willing to work with the Algeria side to accelerate the implementation of the outcomes of the first China-Algeria States Summit, implement the "eight common actions" of China Algeria practical cooperation, strengthen cooperation within the framework of the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation, implement the outcomes of the Dakar meeting of the Forum, and promote the building of a community of common destiny between China, Algeria countries and Africa in the new era. Congratulations to Algeria on its election as a non-permanent member of the United Nations Security Council for the year 2024-2025. We are willing to strengthen coordination and cooperation with Algeria in multilateral forums such as the United Nations, firmly uphold the international system with the United Nations at its core, the international order based on international law, and the basic norms of international relations based on the purposes and principles of the United Nations Charter, practice true multilateralism, defend international fairness and justice, and safeguard the common interests of developing countries.

President Abdelmadjid Tebboune stated that China is Algeria's most important friend and partner. Thank China for providing all kinds of valuable support to Algeria for a long time. Algeria firmly supports China's position on issues of core interests such as Taiwan and Xinjiang, supports China's global development initiative, global security initiative and global civilization initiative, and is willing to actively participate in the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road", deepen the comprehensive strategic partnership between Algeria and China, and help Algeria achieve national economic and social development. The Algeria side welcomes Chinese enterprises to invest and cooperate in Algeria, is willing to provide a good business environment, welcomes more Chinese tourists to travel to Algeria, and is willing to strengthen practical cooperation in various fields with China, deepen cultural exchanges and cooperation. The current international situation is very unbalanced. We appreciate the crucial role played by China in promoting the construction of a more open and inclusive world and the formation of a more just and reasonable international order. We appreciate the constructive role played by China in fairly resolving hotspot issues such as Palestine and promoting regional and world peace and stability. We are willing to closely cooperate with China in strategic cooperation in international and regional affairs. The Algeria side highly appreciates the important role played by the China Algeria Cooperation Forum and the Forum on China–Africa Cooperation in promoting the development of China Algeria and Sino-African relations, and is willing to work with China to raise China Algeria and China Africa cooperation to a new level and better benefit the people of both sides.

After the talks, the two heads of state jointly witnessed the signing of multiple bilateral cooperation documents in fields such as agriculture, transportation, technology, telecommunications, urban sustainable development, trade, aerospace, inspection and quarantine, energy, education, sports, etc.

The two sides issued the Joint Statement of the People's Republic of China and the Democratic People's Republic of Algeria.

When President Abdelmadjid Tebboune arrived, 21 salutes were fired from Tiananmen Square, and the salute soldiers lined up to pay tribute. The heads of state of the two countries mounted the review platform, and the military band played the national anthems of China and Algeria. President Abdelmadjid Tebboune, accompanied by President Xi Jinping, reviewed the People's Liberation Army's Guard of honour and watched the parade.
