President Xi Jinping extended a warm welcome to President Lula for his visit to China. President Xi Jinping pointed out that China and Brazil are the largest developing countries and important emerging market countries in the eastern and western hemispheres, respectively. They are comprehensive strategic partners of each other and have broad common interests. The overall, strategic, and global impact of China Brazil relations is increasingly prominent. China has always viewed and developed its relations with Brazil from a strategic and long-term perspective, placing China Brazil relations as a diplomatic priority. China is willing to work with Brazil to open up a new era and future for China Brazil relations, bringing more benefits to the two peoples, and playing a positive and important role in promoting peace, stability, and prosperity in the region and even the world.

President Xi Jinping emphasized that this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of strategic partnership between China and Brazil, and next year will usher in the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries. China is promoting high-quality development and high-level opening up, and comprehensively promoting the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation with Chinese path to modernization, which will bring more opportunities to countries around the world, including Brazil. Both sides should maintain regular strategic communication, strengthen the exchange of experience in governance, firmly consider each other as important development opportunities, firmly support each other in pursuing development paths that are in line with their own national conditions, and firmly support developing countries in strengthening unity and cooperation. Both sides need to deepen practical cooperation, steadily promote existing major cooperation projects, tap into the potential of cooperation in fields such as agriculture, energy, infrastructure construction, aerospace, scientific and technological innovation, explore and strengthen cooperation in green economy, digital economy, clean energy, and other fields. We welcome more high-quality Brazilian products to enter the Chinese market. China is willing to actively explore the joint construction of the "the Belt and Road" and the strategic docking of Brazil's "reindustrialization". Both sides should take the opportunity of celebrating the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries next year to closely exchange and cooperate in the field of humanities, and consolidate the foundation of friendship and public opinion between China and Brazil.

President Xi Jinping pointed out that China firmly supports Latin American and Caribbean countries in consolidating the good momentum of peace, stability, independence, unity and development, supporting the regional integration process, and playing a greater role in international affairs. China is willing to work with Brazil to continue to run the China Latin America Forum well, promote China Latin America cooperation to a new level, and achieve common development. China is also willing to work with Brazil to strengthen cooperation with the Southern Common Market and the South American Association of Nations. Faced with the unprecedented changes in the world in a century, China and Brazil should stand on the right side of history, practice true multilateralism, promote the common values of all humanity, promote the development of the global governance system towards a more just and reasonable direction, effectively safeguard the common interests of developing countries and international fairness and justice, and work together to build a community with a shared future for mankind. China is willing to strengthen strategic collaboration with Brazil on global issues of common concern within multilateral frameworks such as the United Nations, the BRICS countries, and the G20, and to strengthen coordination and cooperation in addressing climate change.

President Lula stated that I am very honored and proud to have led a large delegation to visit China for the fourth time. This is my first visit to a country outside of the Americas since taking office, reflecting Brazil's love for China and the importance it attaches to developing relations between Brazil and China. China is an indispensable and important force in various fields such as politics, economy and trade, science and technology, and plays a crucial role in promoting world peace and development. Brazil is committed to developing closer relations with China from a strategic perspective of promoting the establishment of a just and reasonable international order. Strengthening comprehensive relations with China is also a common strong desire of the Brazilian legislative body and various sectors of society. I am delighted to visit Huawei and meet with representatives of relevant Chinese enterprises. I deeply admire China's achievements in 5G and other fields, and hope to expand cooperation in related fields between the two countries. I welcome Chinese enterprises to invest and cooperate in Brazil to help Brazil achieve digital transformation and low-carbon development. I believe that deepening and expanding cooperation between Brazil and China will help Brazil's "re industrialization" process, solve poverty alleviation and other issues, and better benefit the people. Brazil is willing to closely exchange and cooperate with China in fields such as education and culture to enhance mutual understanding between the two peoples. Brazil and China share consensus and common interests on many major international issues, both defending multilateralism and international fairness and justice. Brazil is willing to strengthen strategic collaboration with China within the multilateral frameworks of the G20 and BRICS countries, strengthen coordination and cooperation on international finance, climate change response, and environmental protection, and contribute to promoting developing countries to break free from the constraints of unfair rules and achieve more equitable and balanced development. I believe that the future of Brazil China relations will be even better.
