The first meeting of the 14th National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference successfully completed its agenda and closed at the Great Hall of the People on the afternoon of the 11th. The meeting called on all participating units, organizations at all levels and members of the CPPCC to unite more closely around the CPC Central Committee with Comrade Xi Jinping at its core, fully implement Xi Jinping's thought of socialism with Chinese characteristics for a new era, strengthen confidence and solidarity, work hard and forge ahead, and work together to build a socialist modern country in an all-round way and comprehensively promote the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.

The meeting was chaired by Wang Huning, Chairman of the CPPCC National Committee.
