In discussing the issue of digital transformation, President Xi Jinping pointed out that at present, the expansion of the scale of the digital economy and the acceleration of global digital transformation have become important factors affecting the world economic pattern. During hosting the G20 Hangzhou Summit, China put the digital economy into the agenda of the G20 for the first time, proposing innovative development methods and tapping the momentum of growth. In recent years, the G20 has gathered more consensus and promoted more cooperation in adapting to digital transformation and developing the digital economy. It is hoped that all parties will stimulate the vitality of digital cooperation and make the achievements of the development of the digital economy benefit the people of all countries.

First, we must adhere to multilateralism and strengthen international cooperation. Work together to create an open, inclusive, fair, just and non-discriminatory digital economic development environment, promote international cooperation in digital industrialization and industrial digitization, and unleash the potential of the digital economy to promote global growth. It is not in the common interest of the international community to engage in the so-called "small courtyard high wall", restrict or hinder scientific and technological cooperation to the detriment of others and themselves. Second, we should adhere to the priority of development and bridge the digital divide. Countries should work together to promote interconnection in the digital age and take effective measures to improve the digital skills and literacy of the whole people. In particular, they should help developing countries and vulnerable groups integrate into the digital wave and strive to bridge the digital divide. China has launched an initiative to build a digital silk road and regards the digital economy as a key area of cooperation in the global development initiative, and looks forward to cooperating with all parties in this regard. Third, we should adhere to innovation-driven and help post-epidemic recovery. China has put forward the G20 Digital Innovation Cooperation Action Plan, which aims to promote the innovative application of digital technology and realize the inclusive sharing of innovative achievements. All parties are welcome to actively participate. China is willing to continue to cooperate with members of the G20 to jointly build a global digital economy pattern of inclusiveness, coordination and inclusiveness, win-win cooperation and common prosperity.

The summit adopted the “Bali Summit Declaration of G20 Leaders”.

On the evening of November 15 local time, President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan attended the welcome dinner of the G20 Leaders Summit held by Indonesian President Joko and his wife Ilyana in Condor Square, Bali.

Wang Yi, He Lifeng and others participated in relevant activities.
