Han Zheng said that China and ASEAN countries are linked by mountains and rivers, share common interests, and share humanities. Han Zheng pointed out that this year is the first year of the China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership. He hoped that the two sides will make good use of the new opportunities in the implementation of the Regional Comprehensive Economic Partnership (RCEP), continue to expand the "circle of friends" of openness and cooperation, and build a closer China- ASEAN community with a shared future. He proposes 5 points. The first is to further strengthen strategic alignment, fully implement the Joint Statement of the Commemorative Summit of the 30th Anniversary of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relations, build China-ASEAN comprehensive strategic partnership, and discuss the joint implementation of global development initiatives and global security initiatives. The second is to vigorously improve the level of economic and trade cooperation, implement RCEP with high quality, jointly build the 3.0 version of the China-ASEAN Free Trade Area, increase the import of high-quality products from ASEAN countries, especially agricultural products, and promote the deep integration of industrial chains, supply chains, and value chains. The third is to solidly promote the interconnection of infrastructure, promote the joint construction of a new international land-sea trade channel at a high level, jointly build a China-ASEAN information port, and promote the organic integration of the construction of the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area and the Hainan Free Trade Port with China-ASEAN cooperation. Fourth, efforts should be made to expand cooperation in green development, strengthen cooperation in areas such as ecological environmental protection, addressing climate change, and biodiversity protection, promote green upgrading of industrial structures, jointly develop clean energy, and strengthen marine ecosystem protection and sustainable utilization of marine resources. Fifth, continue to promote people-to-people bonds, strengthen public health cooperation such as the R&D and production of COVID-19 vaccines, vigorously promote exchanges and cooperation in the fields of culture, education, youth, local governments, and media, and continuously consolidate the public opinion foundation for the two sides' people-to-people and cultural affinity.

Later, Han Zheng announced the opening of the expo and opened it together with the guests.

After the opening ceremony, Han Zheng visited the exhibition hall and interacted with the heads of exhibitors. He said that China will unswervingly expand its opening to the outside world and actively create a market-oriented, legal-oriented and international business environment. The implementation of RCEP is releasing the integrated market potential and injecting strong impetus into deepening China-ASEAN cooperation. Enterprises from all over the world are welcome to invest in China, and Chinese enterprises are encouraged to actively expand the international market. It is hoped that the vast number of enterprises will find more business opportunities, reap more cooperation results, and make greater contributions to the development of China and the region.
