The mayor of Chipata City, Zambia, Sinoa Mwali and his entourages visited the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association
On May 13, 2019, during the 4th Silk Road International Expo, the mayor of Chipata, Zambia, Sinoa Mwali and his entourages visited the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association for exchanges and discussions.
The meeting was attended by Mr. Sinoa Mwali, Mayor of Chipata City, Zambia, Ms. Cui Yiting, Executive Chairman and Secretary-General of the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Association, and Mr. Liu Zhao, President of the Zambia Branch of the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Association, New Silk Road Mr. Yin Jianfeng, Executive Vice President of the Enterprise Development Promotion Association, Mr. Wang Hongchi, Executive Vice President, Ms. Huang Haiying, Deputy Secretary-General, Mr. Qin Rui, painter of the New Silk Road Painting and Calligraphy Committee, etc.
Mr. Sinoa Mwali, the mayor of Chipata City, Zambia, was invited to participate in the signing of a sister city agreement between Xi'an and Chipata City in Zambia during the Fourth Silk Road International Expo. Mr. Sinoa Mwali is very pleased to visit the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association and sincerely thank him. During the exchange, Mr. Sinoa Mwali said that Xi'an has a long history, profound cultural heritage, and rapid economic development. It is a city that has attracted much attention in the world. It is hoped that with the assistance of the New Silk Road Association, enterprises in Zambia and Shaanxi can carry out practical and effective cooperation, and the Zambian government is willing to provide Chinese enterprises with abundant resources.
At the same time, the mayor invited the entrepreneurs of the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association to participate in the Zambia exhibition in August this year, so that Zambian people and enterprises have more and closer exposure to Chinese culture, and Chinese enterprises can enter Zambia to achieve effective cooperation.
Ms. Cui Yiting, the executive chairman and secretary-general of the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association, welcomed the visit of the mayor of Chipata City, Zambia and her congratulations on the signing of the sister city. The agreement between Chipata City and Xi’an Sister City will provide more and better conditions for the cooperation and development between the enterprises of the two countries. The New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association is a bridge for the international development of enterprises and is committed to cooperation and exchanges between enterprises from various countries. I hope to reach cooperation with Zambia in education, tourism, hotels, catering, etc., and hope that Zambia will provide good policies and support to Chinese companies so that the two parties can effectively communicate and understand and promote the implementation of the project.
Mr. Liu Zhao, President of the New Silk Road Zambia Branch, said,“As the Zambia Branch of the New Silk Road Enterprise Development Promotion Association, I brought the mayor of Chipata City, Zambia, to return to the Association. This is reunion.” The branch will be committed to the cooperation and development of Zambia and Shaanxi enterprises, discussing, negotiating and cooperating together, making good bonds and bridges, helping Shaanxi and Zambia to communicate and cooperating, and working hard for the international development of the enterprises of both sides.
Yin Jianfeng, executive vice chairman of the New Silk Road Promotion Association, says that the visit of Mr. Sinoa Mwali and Mr. Liu Zhao’s return visit will further deepen the friendly relations between the two sides and promote the cultural exchanges between the two sides.Both sides should communicate frequently and continue developing friendly relations.
Wang Hongchi, Executive Vice President of the New Silk Road Promotion Association, said that the signing of sister cities during the Silk Road Expo indicates that Xi'an and Chipata City, Zambia will have closer relations. We hope that the two sides will be guided by the “Belt and Road” initiative. Actively explore new ways and opportunities for cooperation.

Through this exchange, the two sides hope to reach cooperation in education, tourism, culture, etc. Association then ledthe mayor of Chipata City, Zambia to visit the Railway Vocational College, Xi’an Automotive Technology Institute and other units for on-site inspections and exchanges in-depth visits in the purpose of construction of the “Belt and Road” and jointly writing a new chapter of friendly cooperation and doing a good job of basic work.
