Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China held in Tiananmen Square

On July 1, the general meeting to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China was solemnly held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. Xi Jinping, General secretary of the CPC Central Committee, Chairman of the CPC Central Committee and Chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech.

On July 1, the general meeting to celebrate the 100th Anniversary of the Founding of the Communist Party of China was solemnly held in Tiananmen Square, Beijing. Xi Jinping, Li Keqiang, Li Zhan Shu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji, Han Zheng, Wang Qishan, and Hu Jintao attended the conference.
 
 Magnificent journey in a hundred years, strong heart in the beginning of a hundred years. On the morning of July 1, the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Communist Party of China was solemnly held in Tiananmen Square in Beijing. More than 70000 representatives from all walks of life celebrated the centennial of the Communist Party of China with a grand ceremony. Xi Jinping, General secretary of the CPC Central Committee, chairman of the CPC Central Committee and chairman of the Central Military Commission, delivered an important speech. He stressed that in the past 100 years, the Communist Party of China has handed over an excellent answer to the people and history. Now, the Communist Party of China has united and led the Chinese people to embark on a new road to realize the second Centennial goal. The Communist Party of China is determined to accomplish the great cause of the Chinese nation for thousands of years. Looking back on the past and looking forward to the future, with the strong leadership of the Communist Party of China and the close unity of the people of all ethnic groups in the country, the goal of building a socialist modern power in an all-round way will be realized, and the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation will be realized.
General secretary Xi Jinping solemnly declared on behalf of the party and people，we have achieved the first Centennial goal, built a moderately prosperous society in an all-round way in China, solved the problem of absolute poverty in a historic way, and are marching forward with high spirit towards the second Centennial goal of building a powerful socialist country in an all-round way. This is the great glory of the Chinese nation, the Chinese people and the Communist Party of China.
Li Keqiang, member of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, presided over the celebration. Li Zhanshu, Wang Yang, Wang Huning, Zhao Leji and Han Zheng, members of the Standing Committee of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee, and Wang Qishan, Vice president of the state, attended the meeting.
The land of China is thriving and magnificent, and the capital Beijing is full of flowers and banners. Under the leadership of the great Communist Party of China, after modern times, the long suffering Chinese nation has ushered in a great leap from standing up, getting rich to becoming strong. More than 1.4 billion Chinese people are walking on the magnificent journey of the new era of socialism with Chinese characteristics.
The Tiananmen Tower is majestic and majestic, with a huge color portrait of Mao Zedong hanging in the middle of the red wall. On Tiananmen Square, the Monument to the People's Heroes stands majestically. On the north side of the monument, the 7.1-meter-high and 7.1-meter-wide Party Emblem of the Communist Party of China and the characters "1921" and "2021" stand out. On both sides of the square, 100 red flags fluttered in the wind.

"Sing a folk song to the Party", "We are walking on the road", "New world", "No new China without the Communist Party"... Before the celebration, the audience sang high spirited and enterprising classic songs to express their love and blessing for the party.
At 7:53 forenoon, in the cheerful music, Xi Jinping and other leaders of the party and the state came to the rostrum of the Tiananmen,  and the audience burst into applause.
The eagle soars in the sky. At about 7:55, 71 PLA fighters flew to Tiananmen Square to pay homage to the party, the motherland and the people. The flag protection echelon in the air opened the prelude of the flying celebration performance. Five helicopters respectively hoisted the party flag of the Communist Party of China and banners with the words "long live the great Communist Party of China", "long live the great Chinese people", "long live the great People's Republic of China" and "long live the great unity of the people of all ethnic groups in the country" heading forward in the wind. Subsequently, helicopters and fighter planes formed the words "100" and "71" respectively, and 15 j-20 aircraft formed three echelons, whistling past. The trainer pulled out 10 colored cigarettes, and the wonderful performance aroused bursts of cheers.
A pendulum appears on the large electronic screen in Tiananmen Square. 1921, 1931, 1941... 2021, with the pendulum, the year numbers appear in turn. At 8 o'clock, the whistle, which symbolizes the departure of the giant ship, sounded, and the celebration began.
All stood in silence, 100 gun salutes resounded through the sky, and the officers and men of the national flag guard team escorted the five-star red flag, marching with sonorous and powerful steps from the monument of the people's heroes to the flag raising area on the north side of the square. The United military band of the Chinese people's Liberation Army played the majestic March of the volunteers, and the whole audience sang the National Anthem of the people's Republic of China in unison. The bright five-star red flag rose slowly and fluttered in the wind over Tiananmen Square.
The Democratic Parties, the Federation of Industry and Commerce and Personages Without Party Affiliation jointly delivered a congratulatory message. Wan Exiang, Chairman of the Central Committee of the Democratic Revolution, read out a congratulatory message to the great Communist Party of China, the strong leading core of China's revolution, construction and reform. He said that he would unite more closely around the Central Committee of the Communist Party with Comrade Xi Jinping as the core, making new and greater contributions to win China's dream of building a modern socialist country in a comprehensive way and realizing the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
Members of the Communist Youth League and Young Pioneers made speeches on behalf of the collective, praised the party with their youth, and expressed their solemn vows of "please rest assured of the party and strengthen the country with me".

He said that today is a very important and solemn day in the history of the Communist Party of China and the Chinese Nation.
